In this week’s Woman’s Day (March 4 ) you will see a little feature on page 87 titled: “Shop the Markets… from your lounge” and will see one of my Manu Scriptum cuff! I am so thrilled, it is the first time I am in a national magazine 🙂
I know I have been a bit slack lately on the blog but if you follow me on facebook you would have seen many of the gemstones repairs I have made. I promise I will write a couple of detailed articles about a couple of them soon.
To keep you entertained here is a little video of the September Handmade Market in Canberra. I won’t get an Oscar for it but hey I am learning!
I am not really “techy” but since I have a YouTube channel I thought I would practice and make a little video of my market stall at the September Lane Cove Art & Design Makers market. [youtube=http://youtu.be/IUGmhXopsTU]
When budget is tight I sell more convertibles… No I am not crazy and yes I am still making jewellery! I am talking about pieces of jewellery you can change around easily to wear in a lot of different ways.
Here you have a simple pair of sterling silver sleeper with various “dangly options”. You can also most likely convert your earrings to this style as most of them have a loop at the top of the dangly element. You just need to check if it is big enough to fit your sleeper and Voila!
The pendants shown here are a good example. They can be worn as a pendant on a large range of chain sizes but also as an enhancer of a classic pearl strand, multi strand or even gemstone beads.
